About Fun in the Sun Children's Programs
We are a community service from the West Okanagan Learning Foundation and Farms (WOLFF) which is a non-profit society. WOLFF provides programs for children, aged from 2.5 to 14, and we are based in Fintry and West Okanagan area, BC.

With our engaging, progressive and holistic early childhood education philosophy, we understand that each child has unique needs and interests.
We also believe in a model of education that sees the strengths and weaknesses of each child as unique characteristics that builds the fabric of a community. Our desire is to be respecting family values and incorporate parents as role models, volunteers and planners for our childrens' programs.
When we expose children to different environments and various learning experiences, we allow them to explore their self-awareness and gain a sense of the world around them.

As they come to Fun in the Sun children's programs, they will be more prepared for the next stage of their young lives.
What we want to do
Our goal is to teach children in fun ways to be respectful, responsible, resourceful and resilient people with skills in permaculture, whole health and self-sufficiency.
From language and literacy development to social skills and creative expression, the children at Fun in the Sun are exposed to new activities and environments in which to thrive. Our curriculum covers social, physical, intellectual, creative, emotional and spiritual development.

They will learn to be heroes of their own lives by learning skills in communication, cooking, balance, farming, finances and contributing to the community.

We build on the strengths and interests of each child to help build a solid foundation where they can enjoy life, laugh with others and learn.
