More About Us

Our Core Values

We believe in a higher power and see that our purpose is to teach children how to treat others and themselves with love, kindness, patience and self control so that they will be joyful, respectful, peaceful, gentle and generous.

We value awareness, balance, respect, responsibility, and work together with families to bring out the best in the children in our care.

We value safety and love therefore we will not tolerate abuse in any form whether it be emotional threats, sexual/physical abuse, social isolation, verbal or neglect. Therefore, we teach children boundaries, communication skills, situational awareness, and self confidence. We will show children how to reduce dangers and control risks by not sheltering them. They will be clearly communicated with and taught how to make choices to be healthy, strong and smart.

We have a duty to protect children and we start with self awareness, give them tools to use and be positive role models. For example, we will use puppets and drama lessons teach them about trusting their gut feelings and respecting that there is yes, no and sometimes it is stop and wait.

We value education, health and diversity. As children learn and interact with others, it will be important for them to know healthy boundaries, how to make good decisions, how to speak up for themselves, the anatomically correct terms of body parts, how to be respectful of ideas, things or people that are different.

Families of any spiritual or religious beliefs and atheist beliefs are welcome to enroll your children in our programs or come to volunteer. We value freedom of choice and believe that people can choose what values and beliefs that work best for themselves.

Having an understanding of the invisible powers of love and light in our universe is a gift that we may discuss with children or parents. If this is offensive to you then this is not the right program for your family and please go elsewhere.

Our program is focused on choices and believe that people do best when they have freedom to choose.

Mission

The skills we teach will help them find strength, laughter and creativity.

Vision

We love God, we love our neighbours, we love life!

We are also very passionate about sharing the great miracles of God that connect us together. We love good things and desire to be good stewards of the many blessings that we have been gifted with.

Every person is precious and we would love for everyone to see how unique and special they are, so we will start by teaching the children this core belief!

We see that when people love themselves, others and the things around them, they will be a light to the darkness in the world.

What a world it will be when everyone feels loved to be a light upon the world ! They will shine so brightly that they must share the light & love with others!

We would love to see all children and families love themselves, love others and love the environment around them! True respect comes from love.

"The 2nd most important command is this: Love your neighbour the same as you love yourself." - Mark, the guy that hung out with Jesus.
